No comment on the stadium?
Sort of like the CL Final in 2001. They get a penalty early and we have
to fight back into the match against a good team who play well together
and who know how to close things down and how to counter. We got the equaliser on a quick volley pass by Lewandowski down to Goretzka who
guided it in. Fairly early, by contrast to 2001. But then it stood 1-1
at the half. In the 2nd half we were better but had two fairly good
goals called back. Offside is by the foot at the line but these things
are always called too close nowadays. The sort of foul by Lewandowski
before the second one was also pretty ticky tacky, especially given the penalty in the first half.
I was unimpressed by the English ref team. The penalty was one that is
rarely given; Lewandowski really didn't do anything wrong around
Sane's goal; Ocampos dived all night and got the fk every time.
We lacked flow in our game, and Sevilla got their tactics
right. Still, the dominance was there to win in regulation. And it
would have been interesting to see Sevilla's response to falling
behind.
It will be critical to see how many Covid-19 cases emerge from this
though. Attendance was about 15k
We've had games with fans for a while in Denmark. So far no cases have
been linked to games.
