want to lose because it is Dortmund :-)

Sort of like the CL Final in 2001. They get a penalty early and we have
to fight back into the match against a good team who play well together
and who know how to close things down and how to counter. We got the
equaliser on a quick volley pass by Lewandowski down to Goretzka who
guided it in. Fairly early, by contrast to 2001. But then it stood 1-1
at the half. In the 2nd half we were better but had two fairly good
goals called back. Offside is by the foot at the line but these things
are always called too close nowadays. The sort of foul by Lewandowski
before the second one was also pretty ticky tacky, especially given the
penalty in the first half. After that, Neuer made two fantastic saves,
one at 87' and one in extra time, before a weak goalie clearance was
headed in by Martinez (again!). We survived for the 2-1 win.

Martinez in what may or may not be his last appearance (we are a bit
thin and might not get real replacements), with his second saving goal
in the SuperCup Final. In 2013 he got the 2-2 at about 122' forcing it
into penalties which we won against Mourinho's Chelsea (it was Pep's
first title with Bayern). We may indeed still need Martinez as a
late-game sub in critical situations this season.

It will be critical to see how many Covid-19 cases emerge from this
though. Attendance was about 15k

I felt exposed enough doing a couple of days work this week in a public building with 25 people in! Even behind a N95 mask!

UEFA says it was an experiment. Both the Bayern state and Budapest city
govts tried to keep it closed. The latter pointed at Orban :-)

We'll see how many cases come from this in the next few weeks.
Hope it is not as bad as the Sturgess motorcycle meetup in South Dakota.

Indeed. I have become pretty good at avoiding people. Came back from a checkup last Tuesday... seems life without beer, sausages, and restaurants
is good for my health :-)

I was unimpressed by the English ref team. The penalty was one that is
rarely given; Lewandowski really didn't do anything wrong around
Sane's goal; Ocampos dived all night and got the fk every time.

We lacked flow in our game, and Sevilla got their tactics
right. Still, the dominance was there to win in regulation. And it
would have been interesting to see Sevilla's response to falling
behind.

We've had games with fans for a while in Denmark. So far no cases have
been linked to games.
