Clydebank was there, but bought out by Airdrie and resurrected in
amateur leagues. Not sure if Clydebank ever counted as part of Glasgow,
but it is pretty much continuous urban territory there.
And there was Third Lanark. Went out of operation in 1967.
Paisley (St. Mirren), Motherwell, and Hamilton are all close enough to
Glasgow that in a bigger country, they might be considered derbies for
the Glasgow clubs. Paisley is much closer to Ibrox than Dortmund is to Gelsenkirchen, but people still talk about the Ruhrderby. I guess scale matters.

It is. Just that the Jags have not been in the top division all that
often, and the disparity in force is big enough that it is not the kind
of derby that generates a lot of ink (it would be like Liverpool vs.
Tranmere Rovers ?). I think Firhill is closer to Ibrox than Celtic
Stadium (Parkhead) is.
