    remember that it's single-leg, and a draw qualifies the team with the X

    I do apologize, this was an unfortunate consequence of the scheduling. I had deliberately planned
    3rd best winner vs 3rd best loser, thinking that this would eliminate the possibility of two teams meeting both in the repechage round and in the seventh-place final. Of course, this was correct in the case of the repechage rounds ending with different goal margins. But in the case of 2-1s and 1-0s, the third best winner and the third best loser come from the same match.
    Bad gamemastering, I'll try to avoid this in the future. Maybe we should just add a provision that two teams who meet in the repechage round can't meet again in the finals?
