  • Who earned a better seat in 2020?

    Which drivers do you think earned a better car based on their 2020 season driving?


    My three are: Perez, Norris, and Russel

    Norris has got a pretty decent car surely? McLaren third in WCC and with
    new injection of funds from MSP could do even better next year.

    So perhaps Sainz deserves better than a Ferrari seat? maybe LeClerc

    What's the engine offset this year though? Three different engines in the
    top three constructors this year suggests simply slapping a Merc in a
    good chassis won't necessarily guarantee success.

    I'd love nothing more that for there to be a three way constructors battle between Merc / RBR / McLaren next year, but I would be concerned for
    Norris that the change in engine will result in a few more technical
    gremlins and no great leap forward in performance.

    The sad team out is Renault. They build their own engine and car and yet their performance year after year is that of a customer team, often a junior customer one at that. Will the name change also mean a a major cash infusion?
